The goal of this intensive one-month
course is to strategize and write the content of your web site.
Well, with the guidance of Ilise
Benun, author of Self Promotion Online (and several other books), you
and up to 3 other solopreneurs will work together to develop a
"marketing-smart" web site with strong positioning and your
target market in mind.
Here's what we’ll do
Week 1:
Research: Analyze websites (and blogs) of your competition and
determine what your prospects will need to see on your site
Week 2: Outline: Plan out the site
and draft the copy. What pages will your site need and what keywords
should you use for search-engine-friendly copy?
Week 3: Revise: Polish the content and
choose the images/samples to show.
Week 4: Finalize: Finish the
content and get it ready to be posted to a do-it-yourself site or for
your web designer. (We'll provide recommendations if you need
them.)
It's that simple. At the end of a
month, the content for your web site will be ready for the web.

It's all online and at your convenience:
1. Each Monday for 4 weeks, you will receive via email the course
readings and assignment.
2. The following Monday, you submit your assignment via email to the
group.
3. Ilise Benun will comment on each assignment as you move from step to
step.
In one short month, you will have:

+ ideas for layout of your web site
+ referrals to web designers (and copywriters, if necessary)
